Long range financial plan discussed soon

The Village Council will be discussing and revising the Long Range Financial Plan (LRFP) for the Village on Tuesday, June 29th.  This LRFP will be updating the existing 2010-2012 LRFP.  Start by viewing the 2010-2012 LRFP here.

The Village Council last night approved an increase in the rates charged for water to Downers Grove residents.

We have discussed potential water rate hikes before, however last night, Council’s approval makes these rates effective starting on May 1, 2010.

During a March 9th Village Council meeting, Mayor Ron Sandack brought up 3 referendum initiatives as suggestions to appear on this coming November’s ballot.

Last night’s Village council meeting brought forth distraught residents from the Acadia on the Green (AOTC) residences regarding the proposed ATI Health & Fitness facility to be located at 939 Burlington Ave.
